This is the cover I wanted to run with. Ah well.
Inside publishing jokes are just the best.

Adorable.
Comics/graphic novels are fit for all ages. Check out PEANUT, published by Random House Children’s Books, a great read for the kiddies!
In PEANUT, a new graphic novel by Ayun Halliday (creator of the East Village Inky zine)and illustrated by Paul Hoppe (of Rabid Rabbit comic art magazine), Sadie, a high school student, conjures up a peanut allergy to snag some friends when she transfers to Plainfield High—of course, she doesn’t think it through and the ramifications are far more wide reaching than she had ever anticipated.
Publishers Weekly gave the novel a STARRED review, stating that “it’s not easy being both hip and life- affirming, but this team has the secret formula.”
We can’t get enough of these awesome pictures of Chris Ware!

My favorite is:
Pantheon, you’re trying to drown us in brilliance, is that what’s going on here? And you’re having these two juggernauts of talent and reputation appear at BookPeople on the same night so that nobody will even think of stopping by Austin Books & Comics where Brandon Graham will be presenting his Multiple Warheads, is that it? Dirty marketing tactics, right? Competitive capitalist bloodsport in which unsuspecting citizens are duped via – oh, insert whatever Alex Jones might say, if Jones isn’t busy inserting it himself.]
We jest, Pantheon. You’re not even a traditional comics publisher, are you, although you’ve been at this for a while now? And here you are and are and are, et cetera, doing it up right.
WE LOVE THIS! Thanks to the Austin Chronicle.
